Dennis Allen composes a new melody for this beloved hymn text so that we can "hear it again for the first time." Simple 4-part vocals and beautiful piano accompaniment will make this a favorite of choir and congregation alike.

The words have always been a great hymn. This new melody and arrangement are even better than the tradition melody. I would consider using this traditional version (A) to open the service and then have a Praise Team lead (or combine with the choir) by sharing the version B later. They beautifully meet the needs of a multi-generation church.
