Beautiful!! and great harmonies!!
Found this a bit challenging for our small choir, but as one said, we're now to the goosebump stage when we sing it. They loved it. I loved it.
We have a small choir ( in Southwest Virginia) and although it was a little challenging, we enjoyed learning this beautiful song to use in our Christmas cantata.
I usually select the songs and scriptures for the cantatas we have at our Methodist church in Carolina Beach, NC. This one will be used this year as the closing anthem. The melody and message are so meaningful.
Has a very nice slow, reflective, minor key sound that different than so many other songs. it makes a nice "in between" song for the other upbeat songs. nice message of worship and bowing with an evangelistic message to boot!
I first did this piece years ago when it first appeared in the LifeWay musical of the same name. If you're looking for a great drama to go with this piece. Check that out. But, as a stand-alone piece, it's perfect at any point in the season.
